The delegation, led by Kholmurod Salimov, Chairman of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan, visited the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population as part of their visit to our country.
The representatives of the media of Uzbekistan were accompanied by Bahruz Mammadzadeh, Deputy Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry. Nigar Mammadova, Director of the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, informed the guests about the Center's activities.
The Uzbek media representatives familiarized themselves with the conditions created for the development of the creative potential of people from socially vulnerable groups. The journalists were informed about the projects implemented in the center, founded on the initiative of First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, with a view to developing an inclusive society and social adaptation of people from socially vulnerable groups.
It was emphasised that the branch “DOST EVI” of the Center was opened in Ismayilli, the aim of which is to support the development and promotion of national crafts in the region, as well as the implementation of self-employment projects.
The guests watched the creative process in the training studios of the Centre and got acquainted with the exhibition of handicrafts of the trainers and beneficiaries. The musical performances of the Centre's talented beneficiaries accompanied by the Inclusive Ensemble were also welcomed by the Uzbek media. Souvenirs were presented to the guests at the end.
