Video conference meetings were held between the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Alleviation of Uzbekistan and representatives of the National Social Protection Agency under the President of Uzbekistan and representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
Social reforms implemented in Azerbaijan in recent years, steps taken in the direction of strengthening the social protection system were brought to the attention of the meetings. The advantages of the DOST concept and achievements in the field of electronicization of state social services were mentioned.
DOST Call Center, active employment programs, self-employment program, work carried out in the field of organization of vocational training of unemployed persons were reported on E-sosial.az portal, "Employment and Employment" subsystem.
Social services system, projects related to vulnerable groups, reforms carried out in the field of disability assessment and rehabilitation of our country, work done in the direction of providing rehabilitation services and means to disabled persons were brought to attention.
Also, information was given on the work done in the fields of social reforms, labor, employment, and social protection in Uzbekistan. Experience was exchanged in the mentioned areas, and prospects for future cooperation were discussed.
