Rano Turdiboyeva, the Deputy Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Mukhtarbek Baymurzaev, the First Deputy Minister of Labour, Social Protection, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, who are in Azerbaijan to participate in the COP29 event, visited the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
Hidayat Abdullayev, the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population, provided the guests with information on the efforts being made in Azerbaijan to strengthen the social protection of vulnerable groups. It was emphasized that the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, established with the initiative of First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, is the first and largest inclusive creativity and development center in the South Caucasus.
Elnara Ansari, the Acting Director of the Center, highlighted the work being done to develop the skills of people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups and facilitate their integration into society. The guests observed the training process at the Center and looked at the handicrafts produced by the beneficiaries. The rehabilitation services and projects implemented at the Center were also noted.
As part of the "Green World Solidarity Year", the art samples created at the Center and the "DOST House" branch, as well as musical performances by beneficiaries and trainers, left a positive impression on the guests. Rano Turdiboyeva and Mukhtarbek Baymurzaev highly appreciated Azerbaijan's experience in promoting and implementing inclusivity, and wrote heartfelt messages in the Center’s guestbook.
