Following the 44-day Patriotic War, in which we emerged victorious, approximately 3400 Patriotic War participants received medical and social-psychological rehabilitation services at the rehabilitation facilities run by the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency, which is part of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
Over that time, 58,700 rehabilitation facilities were made available to 2,173 individuals with disabilities due to the war.
It should be mentioned that as a result of building the rehabilitation infrastructure in accordance with modern requirements and opening new enterprises, the rehabilitation potential has been increased 7 times. Those institutions are of special importance in the rehabilitation treatment of persons with disabilities related to the Patriotic War.
