Social indicators of 5 months
Within 5 months of this year, 10,548 applications were made to the "Volunteer DOST" program, which plays an crucial role in the expansion of the volunteering movement in our country, and 530 people were involved in the program. The vast majority of applications were for the "Young FRIEND" subprogram.
Generally, the "Voluntary FRIEND" program includes such subprograms as "Young FRIEND", "Silver FRIEND", "Distant FRIEND", "Corporate FRIEND", "Inclusive FRIEND".
The participants of the program welcome citizens in DOST centers and direct them to service windows, manage the flow of citizens, inform citizens and help in other tasks.
The "Voluntary DOST" program, which is highly appreciated at the international level, was awarded special awards of the International Social Security Association in the past, and was the winner of the "Global HR Summit 2023" international competition.
