The Law Department which is a structural unit of the Office of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, within the scope of the powers granted by its Regulation, organizes and provides work in normative legal assurance, legal analysis and expertise.
In its activities, the Department follows the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Civil Service" and other laws, the "Statute of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and other decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, other legislative acts, decisions of the Board of the Ministry, orders of the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population and its Regulation.
While performing its duties and exercising its rights, the Department interacts with the structural divisions of the Ministry, as well as with the central and local executive authorities, local self-government bodies and non-governmental organizations.
