The Internal Control and Audit Department is a structural unit of the Office of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan and carries out internal control measures and audit-related activities of employees, work discipline, including anti-corruption, information security, compliance with the rules of ethical conduct during the reception of citizens, timely consideration of applications and complaints and full and correct response.
In its activities, the Department complies with the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, International Audit and Certification Standards, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Internal Audit", the Law "On Civil Service" and other laws, "Regulations on the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan", other decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions of the Board of the Ministry, orders of the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, other legislative acts and the Department’s Regulation.
While performing its duties and exercising its rights, the Department interacts with structural divisions of the Ministry, as well as with central and local executive authorities, local self-government bodies and non-governmental organizations.
