The Department of Economy which is a structural unit of the Office of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan carries out accounting, procurement, and provision issues.
In its activities, the Department implements the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Regulation on the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan" and other decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions of the Board of the Ministry, orders of the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population and the Department’s Regulation.
While performing its duties and exercising its rights, the Department interacts with other structural units of the Ministry's Office, as well as central and local executive authorities and non-governmental organizations.
