Yuriy Husyev, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan, recently visited the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, operated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
During the visit, Nigar Mammadova, the center’s director, provided an overview of the center's work and its ongoing projects. She highlighted that the center, established on the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva and opened in 2021, focuses on developing the creative potential of individuals from socially sensitive groups and integrating them into society.
The DOST Center offers instruction in fourteen different areas of activity and provides beneficiaries with psychological and social-pedagogical support services.
Ambassador Husyev observed the center’s training and creative processes and was introduced to artwork created by beneficiaries as part of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" initiative, as well as various handicrafts produced by both the recipients and the trainers.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that exchanging experiences between businesses in both countries in the fields of inclusive development and innovation would be highly beneficial.
