The placement of 182 children into institutions by their families has been prevented
The Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population continues to implement legal, social, medical-psychological, and other support measures to reintegrate children back into their families and help them grow up in a family environment.
As a result of these reintegration-focused measures, 216 more children were returned from state-run child institutions to the care of their families last year.
To prevent children from being placed in these institutions, social-psychological support and awareness-raising activities are conducted for children from vulnerable groups and their families based on Family Development Plans.
Thanks to preventive measures, the placement of 182 children into institutions by their families was prevented last year, and these children were kept within their families.
In total, over the past period, the Agency has facilitated the return of 664 children from institutions to their families and prevented the placement of 547 children into institutions by their families.
