The meeting was held with a delegation led by Sofia Shakil, Director of the Human and Social Development Sector Office of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
Anar Aliyev, the deputy minister of labor and social protection, highlighted the social reforms implemented in our country. Information was provided about the DOST Concept, active employment programs, and social support measures aimed at the welfare of vulnerable groups.
It was emphasized that special importance is attached to cooperation with ADB in the reform process. The significance of joint work undertaken during the past period on ADB's "Country Partnership Strategy" for Azerbaijan and other projects was discussed.
S. Shakil expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation experience between ADB and the Ministry. The importance of continuing cooperation in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection was emphasized.
During the meeting, there was an exchange of ideas on the development of labor skills, reforms in the social protection sector, improvement of vocational training systems, and opportunities for collaboration in these areas. Top of Form
