The Supervisory Board of the DOST Agency, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population held its latest meeting.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev emphasized that, by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated August 9, 2018, the DOST Agency launched 7 DOST Centers in Baku, Absheron, and Barda, as well as a “Smart DOST” service point in the village of Agali in Zangilan, and the Shusha branch of the Karabakh Regional DOST Center were opened in June this year. He also noted that efforts to expand the DOST service network are ongoing.
The meeting emphasized that, through the DOST concept initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, state social services are provided in a modern, efficient, fully transparent, and innovative "single-window" model.
It was noted that DOST centers have served 3,2 million citizens to date, with a citizen satisfaction rate of 98.4%. The DOST concept has been recognized with over 60 international awards and certificates, 12 of which are the "Good Practice Award for Europe."
The growing interest from other countries in adopting Azerbaijan's DOST model, recognized globally as a new Azerbaijani brand, was also highlighted.
During the meeting, Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Management Board of the DOST Agency, presented the Agency's 2024 activity report. Several issues related to the Agency’s operations, strategic goals, and priorities were discussed.
