According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection's report, the number of children given to foster families has reached 12.
In accordance with the legislation, contracts regarding the placement of children in foster families have been signed between the Ministry and individuals responsible for their care.
Among the children placed with foster families, 3 are boys and 9 are girls. Additionally, 7 of them are under the age of 6, 4 are between the ages of 7 and 13, and 1 is between the ages of 14 and 18.
Currently, these children are living in families in Baku city and 9 districts (2 in Lankaran, 1 in Jalilabad, 1 in Agjabadi, 1 in Bilasuvar, 1 in Zagatala, 1 in Ganja, 1 in Goychay, 1 in Shamakhi).
The "Foster Family" care model aims to ensure the growth and development of children who have lost their parents, are deprived of parental care, and have been placed in institutions by their parents under state supervision in a family environment.

Additionally, foster families are provided with a one-time seasonal clothing allowance of 200 manats per household to purchase seasonal clothing for the children under their care.
