Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia in the field of labor, employment, and social protection are constantly expanding. This was announced at a meeting with the delegation headed by the head of the Federal Service for Labor and Employment of Russia Mikhail Ivanykov in the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.
Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babaev emphasized
that thanks to the political will and efforts of the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Russia, the relations between the two countries are constantly developing and coming to a level of alliance. He also noted that there are successful experiences of cooperation in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection.
It was reported that active cooperation is carried out within the framework of the International Labor Organization, the International Social Security Association, and the Advisory Council on Labor, Migration and Social Protection of the CIS States.
It was emphasized the importance of the signed Agreements on cooperation in the field of labor, employment, and social protection of the population, including pension provision between the relevant institutions of the two countries, and the great potential for the expansion of relations in recent years.
Information was provided on the achievements of social reforms, the concept of DOST, labor and employment, organization of state control over compliance with labor laws, and a wide range of innovative solutions in the field of social protection in recent years.
Ivannikov expressed satisfaction with the constant development of bilateral relations between his country and Azerbaijan. He spoke about the importance of constantly expanding cooperation and exchange of experiences in the process of social reforms. At the meeting, there was discussed further areas of cooperation in the field of labor and employment.
