Within the framework of the COP29 event held in Baku, the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev met with Mikheil Sarjveladze, the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from Occupied Territories, Labour, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia.
The meeting emphasized the ongoing development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia based on the principles of friendship and strategic partnership in all areas. Information was shared regarding the social reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in recent years and the achievements attained.
The advantages of the DOST concept, as well as efforts made in the extensive application of digital technologies in labour, employment, and social protection sectors, were highlighted. The importance of mutual benefit in bilateral cooperation and experience exchange in these fields was also noted.
The meeting focused on discussing opportunities to expand cooperation between the two ministries in the areas of labour, employment, and social protection.
