The 5th anniversary of the DOST Agency's "Volunteer DOST" program, which is part of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, was held with the "TeaTalks with DOSTs" event.
The main goals of the premium "TeaTalks with DOSTs" event, which is held within the "Volunteer Clubs" of the "Volunteer DOST" program, are to bring together young volunteers and representatives of the government, corporations, and other upper management to share success stories and encourage the growth of young volunteers' leadership skills.
Attendees at the event held at the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center included Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Farhad Hajiyev, Deputy Chairman of the Citizen Service and Social Innovation Agency Jeyhun Salmanov, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Science and Education Matin Karimli, and other guests. The event was moderated by Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency.
A. Aliyev congratulated the participants of "Volunteer DOST" on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the program. He drew attention to the importance of the "Volunteer FRIEND" program in the expansion of the volunteering movement in our country.
The deputy minister emphasized the importance of the activities of the program participants in achieving great success of the DOST brand in a short period of time and achieving high citizen satisfaction in the DOST centers. He said that the volunteers provide support in this field by doing a noble job of helping people in need of special care, and at the same time, they gain great experience in the social field.
Other speakers discussed the value of volunteering and congratulated the "Volunteer FRIEND" program participants.
After that, "CEO Talks" training was held for volunteers. The speakers shared their knowledge and skills in the field of management with young people and gave them valuable advice for their future career activities.
