The delegation, led by Adil Chalishkan, the Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services of Türkiye, who is in Azerbaijan to participate in the COP29 event, visited the Children's Home social service institution No. 1 of the Social Services Agency, under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
Vugar Behbudov, the Chairman of the Board of the Social Services Agency, provided the guests with information about the Agency’s activities and the social services offered to vulnerable groups.
It was reported that the Children's Home No. 1 currently provides state care for 95 children who have been deprived of parental care. Measures are also taken here for their social rehabilitation and integration into society, and their leisure time is organized effectively.
The delegation attended a dance performance presented by the residents of the Children's Home. The artworks, carpets, weaving, and other handicrafts created by the young children attracted great interest from the guests.
Finally, a literary-artistic composition, symbolizing the brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, was performed by the children of the social service institution.
