State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population was awarded the Winner Award in the category of "Pension Fund Design and Reforms" at the "Pension and Investment" international competition, organized by the U.S.-based international organization.
The award was presented to Safar Mehdiyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of State Social Protection Fund, at a ceremony held recently within the framework of the World Pension Summit in The Hague, Netherlands.
In the competition titled “Excellence and Innovation Awards,” various state and private pension and social insurance institutions from countries such as the U.S., Australia, Canada, Italy, Austria, the United Kingdom, North Macedonia, Singapore, Cyprus, Lithuania, the UAE, and others participated. Among these institutions, State Social Protection Fund was selected and awarded the Winner Award.
This competition is organized to promote advanced management strategies, economic and social development, the potential for utilizing modern technologies, and sustainable innovations on the international platform.
This award is the 28th international recognition received by the Fund in 2024, and the 51st international award during the period 2021–2024.
