A delegation led by Serbian Minister of Culture Nikola Selakovic and Serbian Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans, and Social Affairs Nemanja Starovic visited DOST Center No. 1 as part of their participation in the 8th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission between Azerbaijan and Serbia.
During their visit, the Serbian officials were introduced to the DOST Agency's operations. Established by President Ilham Aliyev's Decree on August 9, 2018, the DOST Centers provide 159 social services from a "one window" system, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and citizen satisfaction. Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev provided insights into the centers' principles and their impact on social services.
The guests learned about the DOST Center's service departments and the procedures involved in delivering services. They were given presentations on the DOST idea and the use of electronic services in our country's social sector.
At the meeting held at the DOST Agency, ideas were exchanged between the two countries on future cooperation in the field of labor and social protection.
The delegation also explored the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, established in 2021 with the involvement of President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughter Leyla Aliyeva. This center supports the creative potential of individuals with disabilities, martyrs' families, and other vulnerable groups. It offers training in various fields, including dance, fine arts, pottery, music, and more, while also providing social pedagogical and psychological support.
The Serbian officials observed training sessions, reviewed creative works by beneficiaries, and enjoyed a concert performance by the center’s beneficiaries.
