State Agency for Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation, under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, organized a running tournament for participants of the Patriotic War who are equipped with high-tech sports prosthetics.
The event took place at the stadium complex of Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sport, where veterans competed in a 100-meter race.
War veteran Bakir Asgarzada won the race by completing the 100 meters in 16.7 seconds. Participants were awarded certificates, and winners received medals.
It is noteworthy that since the end of the 44-day Patriotic War, the Ministry provided 489 officers disabled in the war with 598 high-tech prosthetics.
Additionally, these individuals are being equipped with high-tech sports prosthetics. The prosthetics, produced by the Turkish and Azerbaijani representative of Denmark's "Levitate" company the "Bionic Center Prosthetics Orthotics," allow for freer and more comfortable movements in sports activities.
