Within the framework of the "RehaBus" (Rehabilitation Bus) project of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, services were provided to 1900 people with disabilities in the past period.
Launched in 2022, the project aims to improve access to outpatient and community-based rehabilitation services for people with disabilities living in Baku and surrounding areas. The project ensures that these individuals can easily and comfortably reach the relevant rehabilitation facilities.
Rehabilitation buses pick up children with disabilities (together with their accompanying relatives) from predetermined waiting points in the cities of Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron, and deliver them to the Children's Rehabilitation Center No. 2 in Baku.
After the rehabilitation procedures are completed, the children are returned.
