In order to raise awareness about the "Employment Support Project" implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population with the financial support of the World Bank, and to reach the target categories, the next public hearings were organized in Gabala and Ismayilli.
In the meetings held with the participation of jobseekers and unemployed people, as well as people who want to start their own business, information was given about the goals and objectives of the project, as well as the scope of the project. During the implementation of the project, the requirements for environmental and social issues, the expected benefits of the program, and the rules for applying to the project were discussed.
As an additional support mechanism, the conditions of the "Incentive Award" competition organized within the project and other employment support mechanisms were brought to attention.
In the event organized in Gabala region, the "Youth business workshop" was held in partnership with the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy (KOBIA) and the State Agency for Vocational Education under the Ministry of Science and Education. The participants of the project also participated.
It was underlined how crucial the self-employment program is to helping young people develop their business acumen and promote entrepreneurship.
Participants in the events were also given printed materials with information about the "Employment Support Project" and the business envelopes that were a part of this project.
