Public hearing on the subject of "Results of the study with employers on the changes required for the improvement of the Labor Code" was held in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
Participants in the event included representatives of civil society organizations, professionals and specialists, members of the Public Council under the Ministry, and representatives of the Ministry.
The work being done on normative legal actions in the area of labor relations was shared with the attendees of the event, and it was observed that ongoing efforts are being made to enhance the labor laws.
Opinions regarding the work done to improve labor laws and anticipated projects were discussed within the context of the research findings. It was declared that the normative legal framework in this area will continue to be regularly improved in the upcoming years.
It was came to light that employers, who are social partners, had their proposals taken into consideration while drafts of revisions to the Labor Code were being prepared. In order to do this, meetings were periodically held with employers at the social dialogue level.
Opinions and recommendations from the attendees were taken into consideration during the topic discussions.
