Social indicators of 2024
The State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, provided 97000 rehabilitation aids to persons with disabilities last year.
Among them, 7000 were wheelchairs (including 308 motorized wheelchairs), 2100 were prosthetics for lower and upper limbs, 2300 were hearing aids, and 3000 were canes, crutches, and elbow crutches.
Additionally, 3600 pairs of prosthetic shoes, 6600 pairs of orthopedic shoes, and other rehabilitation aids were also provided.
In total, 12200 persons with disabilities were provided with rehabilitation tools over the past year.
