The process of electronically signing employment contracts between employees and employers on the “Labor and Employment” sub-system platform of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population is ongoing.
Over 700000 employment contracts were already signed electronically by employees and employers in “Labor and Employment” sub-system platform. In addition to the electronic signing of employment contracts, modifications and terminations of contracts are also carried out electronically.
These processes are conducted using the electronic signatures of employees and employers (“SIMA Imza,” “ASAN Imza,” and E-signature (SIMA Token)). The signing of a contract, modification, or termination is only legally valid if it is signed on the “Labor and Employment” sub-system platform.
It should be noted that according to the Cabinet of Ministers' Decision dated September 17, 2024, the transition of employment contracts to electronic document form will take place in stages: for state bodies, legal entities with state ownership or majority shares, and public legal entities created on behalf of the state, this will be completed by January 1, 2025; for large, medium, small, and micro enterprises, as well as employers who are not entrepreneurial entities, by July 1, 2025; and for family farming enterprises and family business employers by January 1, 2026.
