A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population with Jahit Bagchi, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, and Fatih Bilal Alodali, the advisor on labor and social protection issues at the embassy.
The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev emphasized that the active political dialogue between the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, based on mutual respect, trust, and brotherhood, the relations of the two countries are constantly developing in all fields. He noted that bilateral relations of the two countries reached an alliance level and continue successfully within regional and international organizations.
It was stated that there is a successful cooperation experience in the field of labor and social protection, and the legal framework for cooperation is constantly expanding. Over the past period, eight documents related to cooperation in labor and social protection were signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey, and a new draft document on pension provision cooperation was also prepared.
During the meeting, S.Babayev congratulated F.B.Alodali, the former head of the Department of the Occupational Health and Safety of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Turkey, on his appointment as the advisor on labor and social protection issues at the Turkish embassy, and wished him success in his future endeavors.
J. Bagchi expressed his satisfaction that the high-level relations between the two countries also encompass the social sector. The meeting included discussions on further expanding cooperation in labor, employment, and social protection.
