Today, 1 year has passed since the opening of Karabakh Regional DOST Center. Karabakh Regional DOST Center, which was opened in Barda city on August 7, 2023 with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, serves residents of Barda, Tartar, Agjabedi, Agdam, Fuzuli, Khojaly, Shusha, Khojavend regions and Khankendi city.
In the past period, 160 types of social services were provided to more than 68,000 citizens at the center from a "one-stop shop" based on the principle of clear, operative, citizen satisfaction. Citizen satisfaction with these services was 99.6 percent.
During the day, approximately 650-700 citizens are received by the Karabakh Regional DOST Center. This process is carried out by a staff of 51 people and 27 volunteers.
The center has the potential to serve nearly 120,000 citizens a year. It includes employment, pension, social benefits and pensions, social services, disability, medico-social expertise and rehabilitation, social insurance, labor relations, as well as social-legal, social-household and social-pedagogical services.
1 year ago, Karabakh Regional Vocational Training Center was opened under the center. Up to 20 employees work in that Center, which consists of 7 workshops, 8 classrooms and instruction rooms, as well as the Vocational and Career Center, administrative and technical rooms. All conditions have been created here for 48 vocational courses, 300 people at a time, and 1200 people a year to undergo vocational training.Rehabilitation services for the residents of the region are provided at the "RehaPoint" Rehabilitation Center operating in the Karabakh Regional DOST Center.
The number of DOST centers has reached 7 with the opening of the Karabakh Regional Friend Center. Also, the "Smart DOST" service point operates in the Agali village of Zangila. With the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, the opening of the State Services Center in Shusha, as well as the Shusha branch of the Karabakh Regional DOST Center as part of the Center. this year it was on July 5.
Expansion of DOST infrastructure is ongoing. Currently, project, repair and construction works are being carried out for the establishment of the DOST service network in Nakhchivan, Guba, Sabirabad, Sumgayit, Ganja and Masalli. As a result, a total of 17 regional DOST Centers and 55 district branches will operate and the entire country will be covered by DOST services.
