The State Employment Agency, under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, organized another media tour to the small farms created as part of the self-employment program for martyrs' families and war veterans.
This time, journalists visited small farms established for martyrs' families and war veterans in Guba and Gusar with the support of the program. They were informed about the social support measures for the family members of our heroes who were martyred in the 44-day Patriotic War that ended with our historic victory.
It was noted that within the mentioned framework, the employment of 23,700 individuals, including members of martyrs' families and war participants, was ensured in the post-war period, while 11,800 individuals were provided with small businesses under the self-employment program. Nearly 1,000 individuals in these categories were engaged in vocational training courses.
The media representatives first visited the service area of war veteran Mirsalim Mammadov. He established a small tailoring workshop with the equipment provided through the self-employment program.
The journalists also visited the small farms created for the father of martyr Murad Iskandarov, Aliaga Iskandarov, and war veteran Rajab Israfilov. By receiving assets under the self-employment program, A.Iskandarov set up an agritourism business, while R.Israfilov established a small doner (kebab) business.
Participants in the program expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the constant support they always feel from the government, and for the efforts made to strengthen their social protection and the assistance provided to create their businesses.
