Today, October 20, is Zangilan City Day. Zangilan and its surrounding villages were liberated from the Armenian occupation on October 20, 2020, and it is one of the most glorious pages of the 44-day Patriotic War, in which our Army achieved a great victory under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
According to the decree signed by the President on July 31, 2023, October 20 is celebrated as Zangilan City Day.
The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population continuously work to ensure the employment of residents relocated to the village of Agali in Zangilan.
More than 313 residents were already provided with employment. Additionally, small farms were established for 26 residents of Aghali within the framework of the self-employment program, and 36 residents were involved in vocational training courses.
