Since 2022, the "RehaBus" (Rehabilitation Bus) project initiated by the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has served 1410 individuals with disabilities.
This project aims to enhance access to outpatient and community-based rehabilitation services for people with disabilities living in Baku and surrounding areas. It ensures that these individuals can easily and comfortably reach the appropriate rehabilitation facilities.
The rehabilitation buses transport disabled children (accompanied by their caregivers) from designated waiting points in Baku, Sumgayit, and Absheron region to the 2nd Pediatric Rehabilitation Center in Baku.
After completing the rehabilitation procedure, they are then transported back to their initial locations.
