Meeting Held with Several Employers Operating in the Liberated Areas

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population with several employers operating in the liberated areas.
Representatives from SOCAR, Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, “Azerishiq” OJSC, “Azerenergy” OJSC, State Housing Construction Agency, State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads, and the “Clean City” OJSC, as well as contractors operating in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, attended the meeting.
Anar Aliyev, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population, provided information about the active employment programs implemented by State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population in the liberated territories as part of State Program on Great Return. It was noted that employment has been provided for up to 2,800 individuals relocated to those areas, including the establishment of small family farms with the support of self-employment programs for 117 individuals.
It was emphasized that active and continuous cooperation with employers is being carried out in covering the residents of Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur with employment measures, as well as organizing vocational training courses for them. Additionally, the benefits applied to employers operating in the liberated areas were discussed.
The meeting addressed the work done to ensure the employment of citizens settled or expected to settle in the liberated areas, ways to further strengthen and increase the efficiency of measures in this regard, and future cooperation issues.
