While one-time payments were made to 24,100 individuals
After the 44-day Patriotic War, one of the key aspects of the extensive social support measures implemented for the members of martyrs' families and war participants, under the directive of President Ilham Aliyev, was ensuring their social payments.
During the mentioned period, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population assigned 119 thousand monthly social payments to 106 thousand people and one-time payment to 24.1 thousand people, who are family members of martyrs and war veterans.
In the post-war period, the amount of benefits and pensions paid to people belonging to those categories was increased twice on average.
