After the period of 44-day Patriotic War, in which the Azerbaijan Army achieved a great victory under the leadership of the President, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the implementation of a large-scale social support package for members of martyrs' families and war participants is being successfully continued.
As part of the social support package, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population implemented the following in the post-war period:
• 119000 monthly social payments were assigned to 106000 individuals from martyr families and war veterans, and one-time payment to 24,1 thousand people;
• the housing program for the members of martyrs' families and individuals disabled in the war was expanded 5 times, providing them with 6,200 apartments and private houses, along with 528 cars for people disabled in the war;
• 67,5 thousand social-psychological support and rehabilitation services were provided to 11000 people from members of martyrs' families and war participants.;
• 2219 people disabled in the war were provided with 60,5 thousand rehabilitation tools, including 489 people with 598 high-tech modern prostheses;
• Employment of 23,7 thousand people, members of martyrs' families and war participants, was provided, including 11,8 thousand people were involved in the self-employment program.
Overall, in the post-war period, the mentioned social support package covered 130000 individuals, providing them with a total of 361000 supportive services.
