The implementation of the large-scale social support package for the members of the families of martyrs and war participants is being successfully continued on the basis of the instructions of the head of state in the period after the 44-day Patriotic War, when the Azerbaijan Army won a great victory under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
By the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population as part of that social support package in the post-war period:
• 118,000 monthly social payments were assigned to 105,000 people who are family members of martyrs and war veterans, and one-time payment to 23,400 people;
• the housing program for families of martyrs, people with war-related disabilities was expanded 5 times, 6,200 apartments and private houses, 528 cars were presented to war-related persons with disabilities;
• 66,500 socio-psychological support and rehabilitation services were provided to 11,000 members of martyr families and war participants;
• 2,182 people with war disabilities were provided with 59,600 rehabilitation tools, as well as 481 people with 587 high-tech modern prostheses;
• 22.5 thousand members of families of martyrs and war participants were provided with employment, including 10.6 thousand people were involved in the self-employment program
In total, social support package, 354 thousand support-oriented services were provided in the post-war period covering 129 thousand people.
