In the period after the 44-day Patriotic War, in which the Azerbaijan Army won a great victory under the leadership of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the implementation of a large-scale social support package for the members of the families of martyrs and war participants is being successfully continued.
Within the framework of that social support package by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population in the post-war period:
• 118,000 monthly social payments were assigned to 105,000 people who are family members of martyrs and war veterans, and one-time payment to 23,100 people.
• the housing program for the families of martyrs, persons with war-related disabilities was expanded 5 times, 6,050 apartments and private houses were provided to them, and 528 cars were provided to people with war-related disabilities.
• 64,300 social-psychological support and rehabilitation services were provided to 11,000 people who were members of the families of martyrs and war participants.
• 2,151 people with war-related disabilities were provided with 57,400 rehabilitation tools, including 473 people with 566 high-tech modern prostheses.
• employment of 21,900 people, members of families of martyrs and war participants, was provided, including 10,600 people were involved in the self-employment program.
In the post-war period, the social support package covered 128,000 people, and 348,000 support-oriented services were provided to them.
