From January to June 2024, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population recorded 15 million applications for its electronic services. During this period, the e-sosial.az portal, which serves as the country's social register, was accessed 2.5 million times. Additionally, 127,000 appointments were made proactively through the e-infrastructure.
Recent years have seen a significant push towards electronicization in the social sector. Currently, over 90 percent of the Ministry's services—145 out of 159—are available electronically. The Ministry has also developed more than 50 proactive services and created a comprehensive "Labor and Employment" subsystem within the e-sosial.az portal.
The Ministry's e-systems are being integrated with the information bases of nearly 80 institutions. As a result, the total number of requests, applications, and services through these e-systems reached 340 million in the first half of this year.
