Future cooperation directions with the Asian Development Bank were discussed.

During the previous period, successful cooperation between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has been implemented, and significant joint projects have been carried out. This was stated during a meeting held at the Ministry with a delegation led by Sofia Shakil, Director of the Human and Social Development Sector Office of the ADB's Sector Group.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Sahil Babayev, provided information about the reforms and achievements in the fields of labor and social protection in our country. He highlighted the successes of the program for the digitalization of state social services and employment services.

Steps taken to expand active employment programs were discussed. It was noted that initiatives include improving vocational training systems, projects aimed at developing the skills of the workforce, and support measures for the employment of residents resettled in liberated areas. It was highlighted that importance is given to continuing cooperation with the ADB in the process of reforms and in the field of employment.

S. Shakil expressed appreciation for the reforms implemented in the labor market, employment, and social protection sectors in our country and expressed satisfaction with the ongoing nature of the cooperation.

During the meeting, future cooperation issues were discussed, including the preparation of diagnostic tools for determining skills in the implementation of employment programs, organizing career counseling services, improving the infrastructure of vocational training centers, and so on.
