The process of conducting final medical examinations for citizens called up for temporary military service continues under the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
The process is carried out through electronic infrastructure, ensuring the flexibility and transparency of the examinations. Specifically, in order to conduct the final medical examination of a conscript, the approval of the Central Military-Medical Commission is obtained, and the relevant referral is entered into the Ministry’s “Medical Certification” sub-system.
Based on the referral, conscripts are automatically assigned to the e-queue system and undergo physical examinations at the Agency’s Medical Assessment Center. Examinations are carried out under the following four categories:
Fitness for non-ordinary actual military service ("B" category);
Temporary unfitness for military service with deferment of conscription (category "Ç");
Unfitness for military service in peacetime, limited fitness in wartime ("C" category);
Unfitness for military service in both peacetime and wartime ("D" category).
The final decision of the examination is also entered into the e-system, and the conscript is notified electronically regarding the outcome.
