Documentary Film “Hadrut, You Are Free!” screened at the event.
An event dedicated to November 8 – Victory Day was organized at the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, under the joint initiative of the Social Services Agency and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
The event, attended by members of martyr’s families, war veterans, and heroes of the Patriotic War, included an exhibition of handicrafts prepared by the center’s instructors and beneficiaries. Additionally, the photographs taken by Orkhan Azim, the Center's photography instructor, of our liberated territories, were presented to the public for the first time.
At the event, the State Anthem of Azerbaijan was played, and the precious memories of our martyrs were honored with a one-minute silence.
Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population, Hidayat Abdullayev, delivered a speech, highlighting the magnificent historical victory achieved by the Azerbaijani Army in the 44-day Patriotic War, under the leadership of President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, which led to the liberation of our territories from Armenia's 30-year-long occupation.
The Deputy Minister also emphasized the measures taken to provide social support to the families of martyrs and war veterans, in accordance with the directives of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that caring for vulnerable groups is a key component of the state’s policy. The role of the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, established under the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, in supporting the development of the skills of vulnerable groups and their integration into society was also highlighted.
One of the most heroic chapters of the 44-day war was the liberation of the town of Hadrut in Khojavend, and the importance of films and photographic documents in passing on this proud history to future generations was underscored. In this regard, the documentary film "Hadrut, You Are Free!" was emphasized as playing a vital role.
Gulshan Imanzade, the wife of martyr Ayaz Imanzade, spoke about the special attention and care provided by the state to the families of martyrs and war veterans. The screenwriter of the film "Hadrut, You Are Free!", Rasim Ismayilov, and the director, Javidan Sharifov, shared interesting moments related to the filming process..
It was noted that the film, produced under the executive production of Arzu Aliyeva, the head of the Baku Media Center, along with the earlier documentary “Shusha, You Are Free!”, is an important contribution to preserving the brightest pages of modern Azerbaijani history in the cinematic chronicles.
The producers of the film are Orman Aliyev and Nazim Huseynov, while the directors of photography are Ziya Babayev and Ali Aliyev.
