The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has issued the statement "Let's say NO to domestic violence!" With the help of DOST volunteers, an instructional pamphlet titled "DOST" was created and given to citizens in DOST centers.
According to the "National Action Plan for the fight against domestic violence in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2020-2023" approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the booklet was created as part of ongoing awareness campaigns in the area of combating domestic violence.
The brochure provides information on domestic abuse, its types, how to get in touch with the appropriate people in the event of domestic violence, and the services available to help victims.
It should be noted that the address of trust for such individuals is the Department of Social Rehabilitation of Victims of Domestic Violence, which was established in 2021 in the Shelter and Social Rehabilitation Institution for Persons from Vulnerable Population Groups of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry. In these settings, the rehabilitated individuals are surrounded by social services, social-legal support, and psychological assistance in settings that meet modern standards and are in accordance with personal work plans.
