The International Social Security Association (ISSA) designated the DOST Digital Innovation Center (DOST DIC) as a supporter of the transformative method "Vision Zero" and granted it an international certificate.
As a novel preventative strategy for industrial accidents, injuries, and occupational diseases, this concept was introduced in 2012 with the cooperation of the International Labor Organization. It incorporates fundamental elements such as safety, health, and well-being in every stage of the work environment.
Over 300 public and private organizations from 135 countries support this platform, which is run by an ISSA special committee and steering group. www.visionzero.global/partners-and-companies
After the pertinent procedures were completed and the certificate was evaluated by international experts, it was handed to DOST DIC.
By becoming a member of this platform, DOST DIC will benefit from increased international participation, internal labor protection activities that are aligned with international norms, and additional benefits.
In the first nine months of 2024, it should be mentioned that DOST DIC has received 21 international awards.
