The DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population was awarded the "Best Partner in Environmental Awareness" nomination by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources for 2024.
The award was presented to the Deputy Director of the Center, Matanat Mammadova, by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Mukhtar Babayev.
As part of the "Green World Solidarity Year" the Center carried out environmental awareness activities for individuals from vulnerable groups, ensuring their active participation in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources’s cleanliness campaigns and landscaping efforts.
The Center hosted an exhibition of handicrafts made from unusable products, concerts, and various projects. Additionally, the Center’s trainers and beneficiaries showcased their eco-themed handicrafts at international exhibitions. Tree-planting campaigns were also organized on the 1000 square meter yard areas of the Center and the "DOST House" branch.
The participation of individuals from vulnerable groups in the PreCOP and COP29 events was also facilitated. A concert and exhibition presented by the Center’s trainers and beneficiaries in the "Green Zone" attracted great interest.
