The number of citizen applications to DOST services exceeded 3 million and citizens' satisfaction with these services was 98.3 percent.
This was stated by Chairman of the Board, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev, at the next meeting of the DOST Agency Supervisory Board.
He noted that Agency for Sustainable and Operative Social Provision (DOST), which was established by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev on August 9, 2018, already have 7 DOST centers, 1 DOST branch and 1 "Smart DOST" station.
It was emphasized that state social services in Azerbaijan are provided through modern and flexible, fully transparent mechanisms, from a single window, on an innovative basis thanks to the DOST concept initiated by the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva.
The work done for the opening DOST centers and branches in the regions was mentioned and it was said that the network of DOST centers will be further expanded.
It was underlined that the DOST model, an example of successful social reform of Azerbaijan, is highly appreciated at the international level, and the DOST Agency was awarded with many international awards and certificates in the past period. Also noted that currently a number of countries are interested in learning the experience of DOST and applying it, and an experience is shared with those countries.
9-month report for the year 2024, on the Agency's activities was presented, as well as the activities of DOST centers, upcoming issues and priorities were discussed at the meeting.
