The delegation from Turkiye, led by Lutfihak Alpkan, the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security, visited the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity during their visit to our country for the COP29 event.
Anar Aliyev, the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan provided the delegation with information about the efforts made in our country to strengthen the integration of vulnerable groups into society.
It was emphasized that the Center, established with the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, also serves the development of the creative potential of people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, as well as their integration into society.
The Deputy Director of the Center, Matanat Mammadova familiarized the guests with the training processes organized at the Center and the services provided. The delegation observed the creative process in the training studios and looked at the handicrafts produced at the Center and its “DOST House” branch.
The handicrafts created by the trainers and beneficiaries, an exhibition dedicated to environmental protection, and a performance by the inclusive camera orchestra were warmly received. Lutfihak Alpkan wrote heartfelt words in the Center’s guestbook.
