In Bucharest, the Romanian capital, the Joint Commission on Trade, Economic Relations, and Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and Romania will hold its seventh meeting.
The co-chairman of the Commission from Azerbaijan, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev, and Romanian Ambassador to our nation Vasile Soare made this announcement at their meeting.
It was noted during the discussion that Azerbaijan and Romania's relations are continually evolving and are currently at the level of a strategic partnership. 61 documents promoting the advancement of bilateral cooperation were reportedly signed in the previous time frame. A 2.4-fold increase in trade turnover between the two nations was reported last year as another sign of the improvement in economic ties.
It was said that the Joint Commission between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Romania works to strengthen relations of cooperation in a number of areas.
Discussions on the preparation for the upcoming meeting of the intergovernmental Joint Commission, which will take place in Bucharest, included opinions on bilateral cooperation concerns.
