The team of the State Social Protection Fund won the competition.
An intellectual contest titled “Brain Ring” was organized among employees of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population to celebrate the 106th anniversary of the Ministry.
Fuad Musayev, Head of the Ministry’s Office and Chairman of the Joint Trade Union Committee provided information about the event, which was organized with the support of the Committee. He noted that 78 employees from the Ministry and its institutions participated in the contest, with 13 teams, each consisting of six members, showcasing their intellectual abilities.
The winning team was determined by calculating the points earned by the teams in all stages of the competition, which took place in an exciting competition.
The award ceremony was attended by Sahil Babayev, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population; Sahib Mammadov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation; and Mammad Musayev, President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Minister Babayev reflected on the Ministry’s development since its establishment on December 26, 1918. He highlighted the Great leader Heydar Aliyev’s special attention to social issues, which contributed to the formation of a strong social policy and enabled the implementation of targeted measures in the Ministry’s activities. S.Babayev also emphasized the consistent reforms in the Ministry’s fields of operation in line with President Ilham Aliyev’s successful social policies. He noted that the President's recent Order includes a new social reform package, with further increases in social benefits planned for 2025.
The Minister highlighted the achievements of the Ministry’s social reforms in recent years, with over 100 international awards received this year alone. He also mentioned the active participation of Ministry’s employees in sports events, as well as sports competitions organized among institutions of the Ministry and for individuals disabled in the war who have been provided with high-tech prosthetics.
The organization of the “Brain Ring” competition was aimed at stimulating the development of employees’ worldview, intellectual capabilities, and analytical thinking skills. Other speakers emphasized the importance of such competitions in enhancing knowledge levels and fostering analytical thinking abilities.
The winning State Social Protection Fund team was awarded medals and certificates.
