Assets were provided to the 20000th person under the “Employment Support Project”, implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population with the financial support of the World Bank.
The person in question is Ilaha Eyvazova, a resident of Baku, a member of a martyr’s family. She applied for the program under the “Women’s Beauty Salon” envelope. After successfully completing the training and assessment phase, Ilaha Eyvazova was provided with the necessary equipment to start her own business.
It should be noted that the “Employment Support Project”, which is an important support in expanding the self-employment program, provides access to small businesses in the production and service sectors for people with disabilities, members of martyrs’ families, members of low-income families and unemployed individuals belonging to other vulnerable groups.
The project, covering the years 2020-2025 and aimed at benefiting 22,000 unemployed individuals, is expected to reach 25,000 participants by the end of 2025, as a result of its successful implementation.
