Another 170 professional and qualification standards were developed and approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population this year. About 100 more standards are planned to be designed and approved by the end of the year.

Those standards are considered the main basis for personnel training according to the labor market's requirements, increasing the workforce's quality and adapting it to international standards.

Over the past 5 years, about 1,200 professional and qualification standards have been developed and approved and placed in the "Register of Professional and Qualification Standards" on the e-sosial.az portal of the Ministry.
