They were presented with Party membership cards and Certificates of Appreciation to the employees of the Ministry who were awarded by President Ilham Aliyev for their active participation in the COP29 event.
Another 144 employees of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population were into the ranks of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) based on their applications. An event to present the Party membership cards to these employees was held at the Ministry.
The event was attended by Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev, Deputy Chairman of the YAP - Head of the Central Administration Tahir Budagov, Chairman of the YAP Yasamal District Organization Bakhtiyar Nabiyev.
The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, and the dear memories of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs were commemorated with a minute of silence.
S.Babayev noted that the establishment of the New Azerbaijan Party in November 1992 under the chairmanship of the founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, National Leader Heydar Aliyev, was a significant event in the history of our country and people. The Minister drew attention to the great services rendered by the Party for the establishment and strengthening of our independent state and the comprehensive development of our country. He emphasized that the New Azerbaijan Party, led by President Ilham Aliyev, has constantly fulfilled its mission of taking our country forward, achieving magnificent historical victories and successes, and has gained national trust and confidence.
The activities of the first party organization of the YAP in Yasamal, S.Askerova 85, were discussed. It was noted that since April 2018, more than 2000 employees of the Ministry and its agencies have been accepted as members of the YAP based on their applications, and currently 4700 of the employees working in the Ministry system are YAP members.
It was reported that 18 Ministry employees were awarded with Certificates of Appreciation by President Ilham Aliyev for their active participation in COP29, the world's largest event, which our country hosted at a high level last month. It was noted that this award is an indicator of great attention to these employees and is also a responsibility for them.
T. Budagov highlighted the significant contributions of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), which has been the ruling political party in the country since 1993 and is associated with the name of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. He emphasized the Party’s pivotal role in advancing our country's path to independence and its comprehensive development. He also drew attention to the historical achievements made under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, including the historic victory in 2020, which ensured the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and the subsequent major victory last year, which fully restored the country’s sovereignty.
Noting that the basis of the important historical successes achieved is the unity of the people and the government, T. Budagov said that such events related to admission to the ranks of the New Azerbaijan Party have already become a tradition, and the ranks of the Party are constantly expanding.
Then, the members of the New Azerbaijan Party working in the Ministry system were presented with membership cards of the New Azerbaijan Party, as well as those who were awarded with Certificates of Appreciation by President Ilham Aliyev for their active participation in the COP29 event. The members who were accepted as new members of the Party and were awarded made speeches and expressed their gratitude to the Head of State for the high trust and confidence shown and the high appreciation given.
