Social indicators for the 11 month-period
In the past 11 months, the "Volunteer DOST" program, which plays a key role in expanding the volunteer movement in our country, received a total of 28945 applications, with 1305 individuals joining the program. The majority of applications were for the "Young DOST" subprogram.
Overall, the "Volunteer DOST" program includes subprograms such as "Young DOST," "Silver DOST," "Distant DOST," "Corporate DOST," and "Inclusive DOST."
Those recruited into the program assist in various tasks at the DOST centers, such as greeting citizens, directing them to service windows, managing citizen flows, and providing information.
Volunteering also provides participants with valuable experience in service areas, helps them develop business habits, and gives them the opportunity to take their first successful steps on their personal development and career paths.
